Lord-Lieutenant marks Clydebank blitz anniversary.

Dunbartonshire's Lord-Lieutenant, Mrs Jill Young MBE, laid wreaths to commemorate the Clydebank Blitz at the annual memorial day.

The first service was at the Clydebank Blitz Memorial in Old Dalnottar Cemetery. The second was at the Polish Memorial in Solidarity Plaza in Clydebank.

Both ceremonies were attended by West Dunbartonshire's Deputy Provost, Council Leader and a number of MPs and MSPs.

Also in attendance were a number of Consul Generals from embassies including those of Ukraine, Germany, France, Poland, Romania, Lithuania and Estonia.
