Dunbartonshire DL inspects Lenzie BBs

Deputy Lieutenant Mark Billington carried out inspecting officer duties to 1st Lenzie Company Boy’s Brigade Display on Friday 20th May. 

It was the first time for two years that there was a full Company Display with young people aged 5-18 present. 

Mark said, 'It was a great honour on behalf of their Patron, Her Majesty The Queen, to present prizes and medals, among them four Queen's Badges, the highest award in the Boy’s Brigade, in this special Platinum Jubilee Year. 

'Having worked closely with the 1st Lenzie Boys Brigade for many years, it was a great honour to be invited along and present awards.”
