Two new UK citizens have been sworn in at a ceremony at the Civic Centre in Helensburgh.
Ekaterina Paliwoda, who is originally from Russia and Lester Washburn Romine, who is from Alabama in the USA, were welcomed by Registrar Christina Byrne, who presented them with commemorative certificates and medals.
Ekaterina lives in Helensburgh and works at Strathclyde University.
Lester is a retired medical doctor who lives in Rosneath.
A welcome message from King Charles was read by Margaret Stewart DL.
