Lieutenancy marks Dunkirk anniversary

Dunbartonshire Deputy Lieutenant Tom Finnigan attended a service at the cenotaph in Christie Park, Alexandria on May 29th to commemorate Dunkirk - the evacuation of British forces back to the UK from the town's beaches in 1940, early in World War Two. Also in attendance was the Provost of West Dunbartonshire, Douglas McAllister and Depute Provost John Miller. The ceremony at the cenotaph was followed by a service at Lomond Parish Church in Balloch.
