New Lord-Lieutenant's Cadet

The Lord-Lieutenant of Dunbartonshire, Mrs Jill Young MBE, is delighted to announce the appointment of a new Lord-Lieutenant Cadet from June 2022.

Cadet Sgt Olivia Winton of RAFAC 1777 Dumbarton Squadron was presented with her certificate of appointment and badge by Mrs Young when she visited the Sqn in May 2022.

When on duty, Lord-Lieutenant’s Cadets wear a distinctive badge on their uniform of their appointment and to denote their role.

They assist the Lord-Lieutenant as required – often on parade for Royal visits – and act as ambassadors for their organisations and the young people of Dunbartonshire.
