Kilsyth couple celebrate 60 years of marriage

Bill and Norma Mathieson celebrated their Diamond wedding anniversary at their home in Kilsyth where they have lived all their married life.

Bill is a well-known character in the area, running a mobile fresh fish and vegetable business serving Kilsyth and the surrounding villages for many years.

Norma is originally from Milton of Campsie and worked in the care sector.

She was a carer in Bankier care home in Banknock for several years.

Dunbartonshire Deputy Lieutenant Anne Walker read the couple a congratulatory message from His Majesty, King Charles.
