Radhika Banks, originally from India, has been sworn in as a UK citizen in a ceremony at the Civic Centre in Helensburgh.
She was welcomed by Deputy Lieutenant, Professor Elaine Boyd OBE DL, who read a message of welcome from the King.
The ceremony was officiated by registrar, Jane McGregor.
