New Lord-Lieutenant's Cadet appointed

Lord-Lieutenant  Jill Young MBE made a special visit to TS Queen Elizabeth, home of Clydebank Sea Cadets, to present Able Cadet Oliver Ramsey with his badge and certificate as he takes up his duties as the Lord-Lieutenant's Cadet.

Speaking to all the Cadets about her role as the King’s representative, and the high profile part played by her Lord-Lieutenant Cadet, she encouraged them to continue their commitment and learning which is so vitally important to them personally and to the community.

This makes it the third year that a Cadet from Clydebank Sea Cadets has been appointed to this important role.
