Helensburgh couple Brian & Maureen Kyle marked their Diamond Wedding anniversary, 60 years to the day since they tied the knot.
They wed at Gosforth Parish Church of St Nicholas in Newcastle.
They met when they were teenagers and now have four adult children.
The couple will mark the day with a celebration with around 20 family and friends.
A special message of goodwill from the King and Queen was read to the couple by Dunbartonshire Deputy Lieutenant, Dom Ind.
