Lord-Lieutenant attends SSAFA AGM

The Lord-Lieutenant of Dunbartonshire, Mrs Jill Young MBE, attended the AGM of the county’s branch of the armed forces charity SSAFA, at the Royal Northern & Clyde Yacht Club in Rhu on April 26th. After the meeting she presented long-serving branch treasurer Kenneth Morrison MBE, with an honorary lifetime membership certificate. She said, ‘Kenneth has spent 32 years working for SSAFA in Dunbartonshire as a caseworker, divisional secretary and treasurer. His contribution has been immense and it was my pleasure to mark it in this way.'
