Saturday November 4th was a very special day for a very special local lady.
Betty McWhirter, a resident at Birdston Care Home in Milton of Campsie, was visited by Mark Billington DL and East Dunbartonshire Provost Gillian Renwick, as she celebrated her 100th birthday.
Mark presented Betty with a card containing a message from King Charles and Provost Renwick a message on behalf of the council.
