A total of 22 new UK citizens have been sworn in at a ceremony in Kilmardinny House in Bearsden.
They were presented with their Home Office certificates by Deputy Lieutenant Professor Elaine Boyd OBE DL.
East Dunbartonshire Council Registrar Christine Wilkie was officiating and also in attendance was Provost Gillian Renwick.
The new citizens originally came from Iran, Belgium, Nigeria, India, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Egypt, UAE, Poland and The Philippines,
