Elizabeth Binnie from Cumbernauld celebrated her big birthday with a special message from His Majesty King Charles.
The former teacher, who is a resident in The Village Care Home in the town, received visitors on her big day.
Deputy Lieutenant Kenny Grieve delivered a card from Buckingham Palace and a message from the Lord-Lieutenant.
North Lanarkshire Council Deputy Lord Provost, Bob Burgess, gave Elizabeth a bouquet of flowers.
She had taught in East Dunbartonshire and North Lanarkshire during her career.
