Helensburgh couple Nick and Dr Marjory White celebrated their Diamond Wedding anniversary with a message from the King.
The Royal card was read by Deputy Lieutenant, Dr Gill Aitkenhead MBE, on behalf of His Majesty.
The event at the couple’s home was a family gathering with their son Andrew, son in law Liam and grandson Cameron also there.
In 2003, Dr Aitkenhead was privileged to read the 100th birthday card from Her late Majesty the Queen to Mrs Edith Macintosh, Dr White's mother.
She wished the Whites every happiness for their Diamond Anniversary.
