Lieutenancy marks world dementia day

Events have taken place across the country to mark world dementia day on September 21st.

The Dunbartonshire Lieutenancy was represented by Deputy Lieutenant, Professor Elaine Boyd OBE, who attended a service at New Kilpatrick Parish Church.

Prof Boyd said, 'it was a service full of celebration through singing across the world. There was a strong message about the church being there to support people and their families living with Dementia. Brian also highlighted the support available from Dementia UK.'
