Lord-Lieutenant attends Police award ceremony

Dunbartonshire's Lord Lieutenant, Mrs Jill Young MBE, attended the Police Scotland Argyll and West Dunbartonshire Divisional Recognition Award ceremony in Helensburgh.

There were eight categories ranging from unsung hero, team of the year, probationer of the year, partnership award, outstanding bravery to the Commander's award.

The ceremony took place in the Helensburgh and Lomond Civic Centre.

Mrs Young said, 'every nominee's story was outstanding. It was a great event to recognise bravery and going above and beyond.'
